Sandy Kiely was born and educated in Adelaide and during this time, pursued a swimming career that commenced when she was just 5 years old and spanned the next 12 years. Sandy competed in 5 National Championships in the early to mid 1970's and held many State & National titles, whilst breaking records in all strokes.
Tertiary education was undertaken at the Adelaide Children’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse, followed by a move to Berri in the Riverland (South Australia) in the early ‘80’s, and entry into Radio & Event Management & Media Systems.

Sandy has a Certificate IV in Interactive Digital Media, Advanced Training in Business Objects, and has made a natural migration to the design world over recent years, with her target audience covering those in need of ink, a website, logo, invitation or professional distribution material.
Although digital design takes up most of her hours, her spare time is spent in construct design, using mostly natural materials in 3D form, some of which can be seen at www.artesque.com.au

Sandy lived on Sydney's Northern Beaches until 2012, when she relocated to Charity Creek on NSW's Mid-North Coast.
